Hi Folks

I'd like to hear some critique.

Be careful - It's a picture of the wife - "Mind the Bump" refers to the fact that she's pregnant and due in April with our number 2.

Cheers.

Hi Golden-Balls,
I guess I will take the first stab a critiquing this photo of your lovely wife.

If it were my photo, I would have her turn her chin 2-3 inches to her left and look directly into the camera, also, have the top of her head more perpendicular. In doing so, you will elevate the bottom left to top right feel that I see when I look at this photo.

Cheers!

Golden-balls (unfortunate smelting accident?)...never mind, lol.

I like the processing, she is pretty. Your missing the bump though. She also looks a little off guard by you taking the picture. What about no glasses, I like them, but just curious what the look would be without them. Good contrast on the choice of clothing for this B&W. Tell her skin tone would also go good with the background and get some bump shots.

Due in April. Congrats. Maybe you should temporarily change your name to blue-.......oh, nevermind.

Nice shot. Being that she's that far along and wearing that shirt, I think a shot that includes the actual bump might work well.

There's a lot more here to like than there is to critique! She is very pretty, and her head position adds character to the shot. It looks like you caught her with an in between, quizzical expression on her face that gives the shot a candid look that goes well with the informality of the pose. The only thing that occurs to me is that the lighting may be a bit straight on. Perhaps more side lighting would create more interest, or, maybe not.

I would like to see the original color shot, although this is nice.
