Off camera 2nd curtain sync

I'm using a 5D (or 40D), CyberSync transmitters/receivers, and an off-camera 550EX speedlite on manual. Can 2nd curtain sync be used in this situation? Thanks!

No, it cannot. 2nd curtain sync requires the use of all 5 pins on the hotshoe (meaning the EX flash needs to be sitting directly in the hotshoe or connected via an off-shoe cord 2 or 3 cable.
