Hi all,
A question regarding a lightroom droplet I have created for sharpening.
Seeing as the action was created in cs3 on a jpg, does this mean it can only be performed when exporting as a jpg or can I export as a tiff and the sharpening action will still be applied?
Also just because I am curious like that, would I bother or rather, why would I bother to save as a tiff and not just as a jpg?
I'm sure someone will offer up some good juicy reasons for this,
cheers for you help, crackennz

If the droplet just does sharpening then you can perform it on whatever you like.
Saving as TIFF is lossless so you can keep saving many times without degrading quality.

Thanks Anke,
yes the droplet does just sharpening but the action was created in cs3 with a jpg, not a tiff.
But sounds like it doesn't matter which file it is performed on then, great.
cheers
