Well done I like the blurred back ground. Makes your lovely wife stand out very well. :)

Beautiful wife. Distracting background. Face slightly soft and overexposed on right side.

I like the picture, however, I don't really know what effect you were going for in terms of a "portrait". To me, this looks like a tourist picture that one would snap while on vacation--it does not have a portrait feel to it. But maybe this is the effect you were going for?

maybe you should mive her to thr side a tad bit... something like the rule of thirds

Nice shot - if enough resolution perhaps crop a little tighter to remove some of the background.

Nice shot, pretty wife. Since you asked, I'm thinking a lower and more to your right angle might have put the foliage on the mountain directly behind Her while decreasing the background clutter. Out of focus greenery usually makes for a nice natural looking backdrop. :D

Thanks for your comments guys.
I was just trying to get a sharp image of my wife with blurred back-ground.
Yes, the image could have been better from slightly different angle & view.
Icant correct that now, however I have cropped the image a bit to look better.
Let me know hos this one looks.
Your critique/comments are always more than welcome.

Both are good but I do think the cropped one works much better, brings more attention to your wife.

Thanks Sandy.
I keep trying to get the best pic straight out of camera, however looks like some tweaking is always required....

I don't know exactly why but I think this cropped photo is one of the loveliest photos I've seen in a long time. Perhaps it is that her smile is so WARM! She is beautiful both inside and out. :)

It should be possible to increase or change the background blur in this photo by using something like Jasc Paint Shop or Adobe PhotoShop and get the effect you want.
