How Goofy is THIS?

To each their own. To me it is a good art piece but does nothing for me from a photo standpoint. Good PP.

A lot of people don't remember that while posting pictures here. If you look at the majority of the pictures there is nothing experimental about them. It is someone just posting a picture to get feedback instead of posting it in the Critique Corner (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=12) so I treated this picture just the same.

From an experimental standpoint, as I mentioned before, that is some great PP you did on the picture. I could see someone selling it as art.

I like the effect everywhere except the centre of the flower, seems to have lost enough detail to make it look ugly. Nice test though, now go do something useful with it ;)

Maybe I need to cycle some new movies through my kids' DVD library...

That is some funky editing. Makes for a pretty cool effect, although I would agree that the "Larry" part of the flower isn't my favorite.
