I was reading the most recent Outside magazine, and there was an article about this camera, the Casio EX-F1. 6 MP CMOS sensor (slightly larger than the G9 sensor), 12x optical zoom, and up to 60 fps!

It's a P&S, but it also eliminates most shutter lag, by buffering images as soon as the shutter button is half-pressed.
Although it's pretty pricey at $1000, it'd be interesting to see what the image quality is like.
