Insuficient evidence...
His foot isn't to the plate yet and the catcher's glove (surely) is in motion to make the tag.
Need to either see the foot on the plate before the catcher's mitt makes contact or vice versa...
Helluva shot though.

Maybe the catcher doesn't have the ball....Where are you standing to get a shot like this? Are you shooting through the backstop fence?

Safe.
But since you asked, I'm guessing the ump went with out.

There is no call to make as the runner has not yet touched home plate nor has the catcher made the tag. It's a nice image but your plane of focus is not on the runner and catcher as they are blurred and the viewers eye is drawn to the sharply focused outfield wall signs.

I was taking photos of the pitcher from behind the backstop and this play happened as soon as I went down.
The ump's call.......out.

No way to make a call from this picture. Just like Michael Phelps in the butterfly the other night. Take a photo a quarter second early and you'd say he lost.

As a retired umpire, I must let the play finish before I make my decision...no anticipation call here! :o) Nice shot though!
