Hello,

I am starting to think about setting up the lightbox for the rainy day shoots and do some still life flower shots.

I am wondering what the best material is for backrounds, to limit reflection, and stay the blackest. I was told velour, but it seems to me it would reflect flashes.

What about a felt?

Thanks in advance

lightbox The farther away from the light, even a white background will look black?

I use felt and it works fine for me. It will pick up lint, hair, and other debris easily, so be ready to tape it or vacuum it.

I use black velvet. Absorbs light like a sponge.
