Nice shots. Can you share your exif data. I recently shot a watch for a friend appraised at $6000. He is trying to sell it. He was happy with the shots but I was not. I think my DOF was too shallow. It was an impromptu shoot and I was ill prepared. However, it was probably good enough for his purpose. I just didn't think it was good enough for me.

It looks like you were light from stage right? Single light?

I find them to be a bit dark on the watch face; the brighter lighting on the band draws the eye to that instead.

Jim, you're right there about the face. However, getting the face exposed to enough "good" light is easier said than done. The face sits some two to three millimeters below the glass which easily creates ugly looking shadows. Surely it can be done, I just lack the skill. Practice, practice ... =)

Number five is amazing. I love the effect of the background lighting on the left side of the watch. Great work.:eek:
