Finaly- bought 430 EX II

...so i have two flash setup now: 580 EX & 430 EX II.
Is it possible to turn off 580 ex and use it just to trigger
430 EX? I would also like to give me tips about two flash setup. For using
indoors and outdoors.

Yes it is possible to turn the 580Ex off and use it simply as a transmitter :
