Can anyone show me a picture of a X0D series camera with the Bogen RC2 plate attatched?

I am curious how far it sticks off the camera.

Thanks,
Grentz

It sticks out exactly 1cm (~7/16"). Can't take a picture.. only have the one camera handy :)

Thanks for the info ;)

Usually I am not the one asking all the questions, but with this subject I have not used the RC2 system before or really ever had a good QR system.

You want a picture of the plate on an ungripped body right?

Grentz,

Be aware that the plate can twist. In the days when I used the RC2 QR clamp, I used to either use Evostick or double sided tape to stop this happening.

With a generic plate it's difficult to know how else to stop it. I never found the plate a problem when hand-holding my cameras.

Wow, Ive never seen that add-on! Id be a little worried that the metal lip would scratch the body though.

Boy looking at this stuff makes me so glad Ive switched to all Really Right Stuff accessories!

Did you see that they claim it's been discontinued. Why? Seems a good idea. After all, thats basically what my RRS plates have, admittedly designed around specific bodies.

It has been replaced with this:
Manfrotto 200PLARCH-38 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/554156-REG/Bogen_Manfrotto_200PLARCH_38_200PLARCH_38_Architec tural_Anti_Twist_Quick.html)
