I took these on a recent visit to Brighton. He looked very wistful. I couldn't help wondering what he was thinking about and where his baby had gone.

Very nice pictures, both having a nice and unique touch to them. B/W adds too that...nice

Maybe I'm sexist, or maybe I spent too much time watching the Scott Peterson case, but I find something a little creepy or unsettling about these pictures. Where's mother? For that matter, where's baby?

I agree. With the pier cropped out it looks like a book cover for a story involving a guy who kills his baby.

Not a critique of the photo... just a comment that some may see it as a slightly disturbing image.

I totally agree, it was that thought that lead me to take the picture.

The mother must have taken to baby to change the diaper :D and he misses both of them already. VERY nice photos.

I like the first one best becuase of the distance. In the second one you can see to much detail of the stroller. I am a newbie but it seems to me that the detail spoils the mood.

I appreciate the first pic more due to the distance. Very thought provoking. I find myself returning to revisit the picture and contemplate. Very nice.
