Two slots of the same type (Honestly I dont care if its CF or SD) and some way to mimic a RAID 0 setup where the data is striped over both cards. You could clear out a buffer much faster

Ugh RAID 0 on CF cards would be doubling your chance of data loss. If one volume on a RAID 0 goes down, you've lost both volumes worth of data. I'll agree about two slots of the same type, though.

What is better CF or SD? Besides the size difference.

Personally I believe CF is better for two reasons: more robust (not so easy for bending accidentally) and contact hidden (avoid accidental static discharges).
I have suffered both with SD cards .... no one damage until now with CF
Just my 2 cts

I ran a two year old CF card through both the washer and dryer. It's been working 100% perfect for about six months since. CF is my favorite flash memory format.

I ran a CF card through a blender, it did not survive. Maybe it had something to do with the margaritas being blended at the time.
Anyway, RAID 0 would not be the way to go. Sure throughput would be increased but you double your odds of loosing not one image but all of them. Now RAID 1 would be cool. Backup your data as you take the images.

Agreed on two of the same, and I don't care which.(but I have more money in CF right now).
RAID? Why, you have mirroring already. Unless you went with 3 memory slots and real RAID, what's the point of Raid vs mirroring with just 2 slots?

No RAID 0 thanks. CF and SD could still be mirrored if that's what you wanted though.
I'm neither here nor there on CF vs SD. I want either one of each or both CF... but I like having the SD slot because it allows me to use Sandisk Ultra II Plus cards so I don't need card readers or a cable.

I think 1D needs to come down in price. That's all it needs.

I would still love to see a 1D in a 40D body. I’d even pay the 1D price. I just don’t like the size. Actually, I would love to see a 1D in a Rebel body. Give me small high power camera. I have had the big ones for 30 years and am ready to something smaller and lighter.

i'd take decent autofocus over multiple memory card slots.
and a price reduction for the 1dsmkIII.
$8,0000 for a camera is just stupid, pro or not.

You wouldn't like the hasselblads.I just got a email from Calumet offering up the Hassy H3DII for a mere $17,995 or you can lease one for $392 a month.

I really would love to do a shoot with one of these cameras in the future.
