Im looking to buy a supper wide angle lens.

2. Tokina 17mm f/3.5 AT-X 17AF pro aspherical
3. Sigma 20mm f/1.8 EX aspherical DG DF RF

you are looking for a super wide? one of those three? I would think that 15mm would be a "super wide"

The sigma is a great lens, but don’t expect high quality wide open.
When using this lens on a 300D it is not really a “super wide” anymore. I use the lens as my standard lens and rarely use the kit lens.
A drawback is the size of the lens, its huge! (and heavy).

On a 300D, with the 1.6 conversion factor, a 20 mm is equivalent to 32 mm in the 35mm film world, which is moderate or mild. Even 17 mm is equivalent to only 27 mm, which is a strong wide angle, but hardly superwide.
I recommend the 10-22 mm EFS for the 300D and 20D. That gives you the equivalent range of 16 mm to 35 mm, which neatly covers the wide angle range from ultrawide to mild.

The 17mm Tokina has gained a solid reputation here,. a number of dedicated prime shooters like it very much.

I agree with Monito. I have the EF-S 10-22mm and if you are looking for wide this is the lense for you! I took this lense travelling and loved it.

Thank you for your time, I think I will get the 10-22

Be aware that like the 300D kit lens,. the 10-22mm is an EF-S lens that will not work on any 35mm camera or many of Canon's Digital cameras.

10-22? lot of cash for an average lens, albeit wider.

I got the 15mm fisheye. It is around $550, but takes great shots and there are a number of ways you can do perspective correction on the computer. And there are times when the fisheye perspective is way cool.
