did you brush around the top of the jet and in between the gears?
but otherwise i think its a decent shot. could bring up the brightness a bit more. plane doesnt seem to match the the background its on

Thanks for the comments, I did mask around the plane and change the background in an attempt to make the shot pop a little more. I think I probably went too far with the processing.

Not enough. I love the pen tool for selections! Make a path, turn it into a selection. Google for directions.
Or, get CS3 and ISBN - 978-0-240-52064-3.

That area between the gear is more blue just because the sky is more blue there. The selection I used for my mask was pretty tight.

Nice color on the 737. The sky looked purple in #1 but I like #2.

Yeah, I was in a boring meeting today so I processed that first one on my laptop. The second one was done a while back on my desktop with a calibrated monitor.

yes yes 2nd edit much better! can still see the halos but thats ok, shot looks more believable now!
