Jimi Lives!!

I went to a guitar greats concert the weekend with 3 tribute bands; Dire Straits, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix. It was in an open air ampitheatre so the lighting was not too good so most of the pictures were taken at ISO1600 or 3200

first set is much better. Definitely a result of the artist...

I can't decided which of the "jimi" shots is the best, probably the fire one if I really had to choose. The fire is a little over exposed, but that's the nature of fire, and not much you can do about it considering you want everything else lit, and I'm being nit-picky!

For the second set of 3, second image is a nice moment.
the last shot, the head of the guitar is cut off, and while it might sound really obnoxious and nit-picky, it does make a big difference.... I do it all the time, and hate myself for it every time! :-D

Agree with the first set being better.

Did you shoot Raw?
If so, it should be do-able to correct the (mayor) clipped channels in the last few images...

Yes I did shoot Raw but as I am very new to this game can you please enlighten as to your comments.
I have just had one of the band come back requesting some of the pictures. What sort of price should I ask?
