View Full Version : My first evening with the 20D

New here though no stranger to the Internet. I just opened up the box to my 20D and shot the following pics. I must say that this is my first Canon-previous digi cams have been Sony and Minolta and thus far I am impressed. Took about 2 months of research to choose between a superzoom like a F828, 8080,A1 or a Digi SLR and then between this and the D70.

Any critique on the following pictures would be appreciated. All taken in auto mode.

the first pic is of a fish in my tank. I believe that it is a gold fish. For some reason the ,"nicer fish" are very camera shy.:(

The last two pics are of Quincy, my 4 year old Pug getting tired of posing for daddy's new ,"toy". :D

Well last night the shots took up about 20 inches of my screen, something must have changed...

Yep, they were at full resolution last night. I reduced them to save some bandwidth on my server.

I am going to play around with RAW and Phase One software. they have a 30 day free download on their site.
