I know I am a bit late but things have been pretty busy since going to the show on Friday and Saturday. Some of these will be similar but hopefully something a little different as well and I hope you like them.

Good ones! what kinda gear were you using? You should think about getting an EXIF viewer:
EXIF viewer - Opanda (free) Windows/IE/Firefox,
http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/index.html
Just right-click on the image & select "View image EXIF data". Some images don't include it, though.
FxIF :: Firefox EXIF reader using "Properties".
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5673
Exif Sub IFD

. Could have been the 400 prime or the 100-400. If he was a 100mm however it could have been a host of lenses.
Just didn't understand why when he asked what gear was used he was directed to an exif viewer. Especially one in the example posted that does not contain the camera or lens info.

Thanks for all of the nice comments everyone. As has been discussed, it was the 1D MkIIN and the mystery lens was the 100-400. Still saving up for that joy for airshow photographers, the 500 F4! I am pretty sure I must have been very close to you Andrew as I saw your great shots in your thread and we seemed very close to be lined up. Were you in a small taped off area with about four other photographers? If so, we were just in front of you. I had a Tilley hat on and was introducing my nephew to his first go at shooting an airshow.

Ah very good, I think I remember seeing a 1D body with a 100-400 on it, this was Saturday right? Could you here the loud music from our neighbors and the block party from the hood? It was so loud you couldnt even hear Herb Hunter or anyone else.

It was Saturday. When you are close to the water, you usually can't hear too much of the announcements. I am always amazed how many people are uninterested in the show. Why go to the same beach as a million other people if you don't want to see the show but I guess that is what the show is - a day out for the city. Did get a few shots with passing footballs and volleyballs!
