I am looking to take professional pictures of diamond watches and jewelry.
A reference can be www.bidz.com (http://www.bidz.com) to see the quality.

I currently own a Canon S80 Powershot and a Nikon D40 but looking to upgrade, i know there are better camera's out now, i am open to new suggestions.

I came accross a site that sells photography kits,
http://store.tabletopstudio-store.com/waphkit.html

What do you think about it? They explain every accessory bellow,

Thanks in Advance,
Gene

You don't need better cameras, you need more lights! Then, if all you want to do is photograph jewelry, a light tent (or EZcube, as they call it in the links you referenced) will diffuse the light nicely.

should i buy that setup package? Only if you're rolling in money? Make your own as in the link I posted.

i made my own cube, i have been having problems with the pictures, for some reason the camera lens is getting into the face of the watch. There is a reflection. I tried shooting in 3 modes, TV, manual, and Digital Macro with a Canon Powershot S80

When i zoom under TV mode, the item blurrs up. ?
Under the digital macro i use the zoom, but the pic has too much red color.

I am trying to upload pics to show, but the size allowed is only 150 kb. how do i make it that file size?
