I understand completely how this is so special for you. I was in the U.S. Navy in 1962, and my parents asked me to pick up a Pentax camera for them when I was stationed in Japan. I picked one up for them (they paid), but I was a newlywed and couldn't afford such a luxury for myself in those days, and I really lusted for that camera for years afterwards. A couple years ago, just before she passed away, my mother gave me that camera. It's one of my most prized posessions, not because it's rare or valuable, but because of what it reperesents..
