Blended from 5 different exposures one stop apart. Some tuning with curves and added a hint of yellow to warm up the light. Comments and especially critique is welcome (I know: the halo around the lamp is ugly).

I like this shot a lot. Great feel to it. The halo is fine - don't touch a thing. :)

it's a good picture with nice bit of post processing.
at the same time light is little too bright for my liking

Man, you hit it tack on with that one....very interesting capture. It immediately evokes emotion...its got that "tales of Narnia" thing going on...majorly imaginative. Good job, dude...keep it up !

Nice shot! I've heard alot about blending but have yet to try it. Are there websites that have tutorials on them?

Really nice shot - a great location. eerie feel if you happened to be there alone at 2 am in the morning ;)
its a little bit of a shame the light detracts from what should (imo) be the focal point of the exiting corner
still a wonderful capture

Composition seems ok but for me the snow is a little brown and could be whitened. Also seems oversharpened a bit.

Articles about blending:
http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/digital-blending.shtml
and
http://www.erik-krause.de/blending/
(I use the latter. Although it needs more work, it has given me better results.)
The snow looks brown because of the yellow I added in post-processing: The light from the lamp was very, very cold. In the original shots the snow is literally snow white. I just recalibrated my monitor and it seems that the snow is indeed brownish. I'll need to try to fix that but retain the warmth.

I like the shot a lot.
Have you tried this in sepia? The color now looks a little "in between" so not quite right. Don't get me wrong - I like it a lot - but it looks like a natural for sepia.

I like the lonely path, but does look like too much sharpening. But done good, for the composition of the whole scene.

Thank you for the comments and kind words. I'll definitely try the sepia.
The image actually is oversharpened, something like Radius 0.3, Amount 170, Threshold 0.

Love the colour! What other flavours does the snow come in round those parts?
Smart use of layers and blending.
