NEVERMIND!!
I closed the gallery.

The thing I want to ask is: Do you guys ever worry about your photos getting copied or stolen? I've been nervous to post this link all day, thinking that now anyone can get a hold of these pictures.

Am I just nuts, or?

If you look at my website, you'll notice that I dont do two things that people often do thats really annoying to me.

1) I dont disable rightclicking in browsers ( its easily defeatible and serves no real purpose )
2) I dont put big copyright symbols on the pictures themselves just a ©Karl Blessing at the bottom of each page.

The general idea is that if your image is only published say 600x400 on the web, sure someone could hypotectically take it, make it a wall paper, or try to print it. But at 600x400 , thats a small wallpaper, and if trying to print to 4x6 the quality will suck, it wont be something thats commercially viable, tho trust me i've seen people try to print 4x6 images off their 320x240 webcams.

Probally cuz he changed his gallery folder to a much more inappropiate name

http://www.nicke.000k2.com/Gallery%20of%20Niklas%20Sandstr%f6m/

I mean just on the domain name alone, if the site is inteded to look professional, ( and correct ), no spaces in the name, and go out and get a real domain name they're quite cheap now days.

Actually I denied access to that page, I was just about to post it here.

And kb244 - I'm 17 years old and I have a lot of things to do, I'm not about to pay for a domain and a host already because of the fact that this is just a hobby for me.

Just do your thing and don't worry too much. Don't put anything on the Internet that can explode into your face somewhere in the future. 600x400 or even 800 x 600 is almost worthless for any real world commerce (print), they can use it on the web, though (so what?) The idea is to show, promote, sell, share your stuff,or whatever, on the web, right? When agents start lining up on your front porch, you can start worrying about copyright. Just my two cents.

You are absolutely right. Thanks for the input!
