My friend just got back into the scene after years of being out of the loop, and I was there at his first practice this past tuesday... And lemme tell you, he freaking rocks!

Lemme be the first to tell you that these guys don't look like metal heads, but their music will prove otherwise!

The lighting was horrible, so I took all shots hand held with a 24-70mm @ 1/10 sec, f/4 & 1600ISO. Post processing includes Noiseware Noise removal, cropping & framing.

That last image is awesome. I also think that #1 is one of the best out of the set.

I like the last one best !
#2 may looik better in sepia or BW. Just my IMHO.

I love these shots! The movement feels just right.
The classic "V" reminds me of my youth and the time we spent trying to "make it".

They never do, a mate plays bass for a local group called SixDayWar, a very quite normal bunch of guys by day, raging death metal players on a friday night.

I can't stand the music, but thier shows are lots of fun to shoot.

I like all the pics. As far as the suggestion on Sephia tone, here is a sephia/anitique/posterize. IDK I think I like the original just as much.

cool, thanks for all the comments guys! They don't have a name just yet, and still in need of a bassist... One of the scouts for BB King and House of Blues just approached them on Thursday, and pretty much told them that once they find a bassist, they got themselves a gig.

Yeah, they're that good! I took a lot more pics, and once I set up my gallery, I'll put them up so you guys could take a look.
