(not nude. too coldhttp://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif )

sitting on a seat by the lakes these four mexican girls were in glendalough today

they mentioned they work in the city (over here ) and have done for over a year

http://www.photoshare.co.nz/PhotoShareGallery1/100543/101659/IMG_6152copy3256.jpg

and that they didn't feel the cold

http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif

http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif if the colours are too dazzling here (especially the white coats)http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif
believe me it's better than black and white

which takes from the girls frozen cheeks

I got that other girls boots in, in another shot
but preferred this one ....of their smiles

Interesting. So many Mexicans come to the US, I never think about the ones that may go elsewhere. Is there a large Mexican population in Ireland? Other European countries? It seems strange they would seek colder climates, but...who knows?

every nationality under the sun is over here now Stan.
it seems strange at times. hearing all the different languages

I often think it must be like how New York first started out to make it the city it is today. so many different cultures .
it's a real melting pot . lively colourful and some very interesting people

and all the rest besides http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif
that's life.

thanks

Color seems fine, Marie. But they do look a bit chilly, no matter what they say!

Beautiful shot Marie; They look very pleased to be in Ireland, now who wouldn't, :) :) :)
I guess they will go where ever they can find work. that's why so many come over here to the States.

What a lovely shot. They look like they're really enjoying themselves.

fortunately, I don't have to go to Ireland to take photos of Mexican women. We're less than 100 miles from Mexico, and have a significant Hispanic population right here in Coachella Valley.

They tend to be quite photogenic---great coloring and beautiful eyes.

thank you Charles

as there were some cars in the background I cut the top of the picture off
which didn't help a lot
also the girls faces are not quite as sharpish as I would like them to be
but thought they were lovely and 'went ahead' and posted:)

they laughed a lot and were enjoying themselves

they seemed very happy , thanks Sandy

a lot come for the experience also.
anyway it does everyone good to venture further afield when they are young
then they appreciate home better...http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif maybe
wherever it may be when they get back and they can share their experiences

many irish are used to it (as you know)...working abroad
so many are doing IT (etc) now that no one wants to work at manual labour.
I don't know if the pay is so good.
I think there may be a government grant which helps

I thought I was seeing things

your post must have hopped on when I was replying now
welcome to the forum Selym

yes the girls are beautiful and so is glendalough
as you probably knowhttp://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

somebody will be able to help about your lens
is there another place where you could put the question (above this )?
but if someone wants to reply here that's ok

hope it all works out for you real soon

thanks a lot for the message

we'll see your pictures soon as the camera is well again

edit
a few minutes later

try this selym >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

..................

just a little suggestion
try taking the battery out and leave for a short while
and try again.

you may have pressed too many things together and confused something in the camera's workings

best of luck :)

Selym

that's not very nice

you'll have me guessing too
it's hard enough with the english:confused: sometimes

I just added a url in my last reply selym
where you can ask the question (re the lens) in a place where they will have good answers for your particular type of camera

for posting pictures ..hit where it says ' new topic'
on the left at the top of the page
and then the little box with the yellow in it shows (among other choices ) ..
little box
like this >
http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/editor/insertimage.gif
will take your picture if you have it posted on another site like pbase.com. first

or somewhere like that.
do you know pbase ?
am not great at explaining

you'll get the hang of it soon
others may explain better then me.

but first the lens problem
is the battery out ?
and try again

hope that works
if not try the url I left on the other reply above
