I caught this guy about when I was going to give up on the light for the day. If I had to do over again I would have used the flash to get more contrast and detail around its head. 20D, 400mm handheld, ISO 200

Nice shot of a very difficult bird to capture. Plentiful, sure, but try to expose them completely and you'll go nuts.

I'm not sure that flash would have helped. The contrast range is just so wide on this bird.
