My Golden Boy

My wife has been sending me photos of my wonderful pup while I'm stuck over here in Afghanistan for a year. They may not be the best quality and all are a little small so she can email them to me, but I love 'em and thought I'd share. We got him from a Golden rescue organization and he's turned out to be such a great addition to the family. He's my wife's best friend while I'm away.

I appreciate your sentiments. It truly is an honor to serve with the folks I'm with, but the time is going by slower and slower - 6 months to go. We just got back from my mid-tour leave which we spent in Africa. Jasper stayed with my parents and now my wife and he are with her parents in PA before returning home to TX. Jasper has learned to get along with cats while at her mom's house since there are 4 kitties there... but if a cat is found outside, all is fair and the chase is on!
