I just wanted to say thank you to the people who manage these forums, and all the members of it. I have been on here about a day and a half and I've learned more about equipment and techniques than I have in my 4 months on other forums.

I mean jeez...so far I've learned about:
Lens Abreviations (DO / MP-E / etc)
"Glass" = Lenses
What type of lens to use for indoor sports
What classifies a lens as "fast"
How extreme "L" lenses are.
How pros capture lightning bolts
Methods for astrophotography
How to Calibrate my monitor


Not to mention: I have a place to go for equipment reviews, and even a place to purchase equipment (which I will be taking advantage of in the future for sure)

I'm so glad I found this place!
