I have a 40 ( yes - Fourty!!) year old archive of 35mm colour negatives and slides - mainly negatives - that I would like to scan, edit and have printed : hopefully the results will be better prints than I ever saw originally:cool: !
I originally thought in terms of buying a dedicated film/negative scanner but have been surprised at the high praise in reviews of a flatbed scanner - the Canoscan 8400F which can be bought for as little as £149 - if you don't mind a manual printed in French from Pixmania!:rolleyes:
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has used this scanner and to know what their experience of it has been like.
