Just starting the thread early in anticipation of what this week will bring.

But Photokina isn't until Septermber 23. As per Canon's history, they will introduce one batch of cameras for August, and another batch of cameras during Photokina itself in September.

I'm guessing that discussion of the Photokina (September) products at this point will likely get this thread banished to the Rumors forum.

Do you think the earlier release will be the 50D announcement, followed in September with the replacement for the 5D?

This years show should be exciting. We've had lots of talk about Canon's new modles but I'm sure that the other manufacturers have not been standing still either.

I just want to see if they would reveal other cameras like a 5D MK II, or even a MK IIIn. A MK IIIn would just blow people away! Don't ya think?
