my AF seems to be getting slower

um my tamron 70-210 f2.8 takes loong time to focus ... didnt seem like it was this slow before

does the motor in lenses commonly wear out and slow down?

I have never had that happen, but anything is possible I guess. Do your other lenses seem okay?

Yeah, as you get used to things....

I spent a day with the 70-200 f/2.8 and then the next day used my 100-400... What a slow pig in comparison...

Is your battery maybe not performing as well as it used to. I have to image the function of focusing drains the battery more than any other single function on the camera. Since we're grasping at straws here, I figured I'd join in. :lol:

That happened to me when using my 70-200L 2.8 and then I changed the battery and it was back to normal.
