Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and a new 20D owner. I can see this is going to become an expensive hobby and I have a lot to learn.
As this is my first post please let me know if it's considered bad etiquette to 'frame' photos. I haven't tried this look before I just think it adds a nice touch to this pic. I checked the guidelines so I could be sure of posting the correct size image but didn't see anything about framing. Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place too :)
This photo was an accident but I really like the way it turned out.
I was just playing around with the camera after attaching the Canon 50mm f1.8 II lens and I was aiming at my mother (the only other lens I have is the 18-55mm kit lens). This is my blue Cornish Rex cat Matilda who was sitting behind Mom and she makes a much nicer crop, she has such stunning eyes. I love the fact that the Canon pics are big enough to crop like this.
Unfortunately this was in auto mode with flash, atm I much prefer RAW and available light but I still really like the way it turned out.
Cheers,
Bec.
