Canon s#x, and it looks like they are delaying already late anouncement to the latest minute.

So looking back at 2006 anouncement dates - Sep. 15th will be the day they tell us whether there will be 5D Mark II and 1D Mark III N or not.

My dyslexia says "24"... so that makes the date September 24, the second day of Photokina.

The 60D and 7D Mark II. It's never too soon to spread rampant speculation.

I think August 25th "chosen" because it was at the top of the hat. Soooo, unless something interesting happens later this week, we'll just pass the hat again and press on like normal.

I heard the 7D Mark II can float (with an L lens attached, of course).

Ummm... that Canon did not give us remote flash control from pop-up flash and weather sealing on 5DMKII and 50D... Whaaaaa... ;)

Or a mirror lock up button.

Hey, what happens August 2016 -- are they really gonna call that camera the 100D?

Especially if you messed with the new micro-AF adjustments... I can see all the "HELP! ASAP..." threads now as people can't help fiddling with them an hour before shooting their very first wedding ;-)

Well, if I have to wait until I am 156, there won't be much point in doing it then.

C'mon man, it's the future. We'll all be bionic in a few decades anway. 156 will be the new 35. Hmm, I wonder if they'll make bionic EF mounts.

Don't forget, supposedly the 5D replacement will not be the EOS 3D we've all been waiting for. That's for spring next year. So we'll have that to discuss!

Regular as clockwork.

You're so close it isn't even funny

Wait - it is funny :D

Well, maybe not

In any case, one could probably cut and paste the responses from the intro of any of the prior DSLRs and they would all look the same. . .

Good luck to all and good shooting (especially before the capabilities of your current DSLR magically disappear now that the 50D has been announced )

Have Fun,
