I had the privilege of being on set with Cult Classic Film (http://www.cultclassicfilm.com) while shooting a local artist music video.

I took a few shots during the shoot, all C&C welcome!

Thanks in advance :D!

Don't know what to make of the set... (An attractive lady in bed, and some disappointed looking guys? ) As pictures, these are OK... The subject is portrayed in a more of a documentary style... That's probably why there is little response... The first face shot is real nice... The other pics are less interesting... Thanks for sharing.

Images are nice, apart from the gray vignette on #3.
Nice to see a film crew work.
I suppose you couldn't shoot while they were shooting? Some action shots would have been nice...

Go wider for behind the scenes and really punch in for stills. The whole idea (generally, I don't know if that's what your job was on this set) is that they can use the photos for promotions. The behind-the-scenes photos you got didn't really capture the "set" and what was going on. It might be the case that you were actually working another job, I don't know.

There's the keno taking up half the frame on #6. Obnoxious. And do I care who this person is? They're just standing there. Action shot. Setting up light. Taking gel off. Etc.

#4: You're too low and nobody is facing the camera. Somebody is doing something on the computer. That's all this picture is. Maybe get behind him so you can see what he's looking at, that the crew is looking with him, and then beyond the monitor to get the setup.

#2 is pretty boring, it would be nice to see the camera OPERATED by someone. Even someone framing the shot. Right now it just looks super moody all contrast-crunched... and I don't know why, since the camera is your only subject.

#5 is the closest one you have for a true behind-the-scenes shot... but you couldn't get wide enough. I don't know what lens you were using - only that you shot at 28mm f/3.5, which leads me to believe that you had either a 28-300, 28-80, or 28-70. Sets are cramped, and on a crop camera (like your XTI) they become stifling. I'd suggest getting a superwide... or EVEN using your 18-55 for those extra 10mm if you don't want to spend the extra money, no joke.

Work harder to get subjects that we care about.
