the band that should have been huge, but only caught bad breaks...after a ten year hiatus they play coachella and do a US tour...great show, read my review (http://www.bigtakeover.com/reviews/swervedriver-with-longwave-and-terra-diablo-the-paradise-boston-ma-tuesday-june-10-2008) if you want

tough lighting, and this was the show my 5D stopped working. good thing the 30D didn't die on me.

excellent work amongst the classic paradise lighting.

What happened to your 5d?

#'s 3, 4, 5 get my vote...

Yeah, what happened to the 5D? I haven't heard much negative feedback on it before.

thanks Phil and John. The lighting was rather tough (lots of blues and reds, hence the predominant b/w)

the 5D gave me an err 01 message, and cleaning the contacts didn't do anything. it would lock up after every other shot, and finally wouldn't even power up; the back LCD wouldn't come on. the top LCD was the only thing visibly working, but i couldn't change any settings via the dials.

when i got home i took the grip off and put the single battery door back on, and it worked 96% of the time, but i did send it off to canon for repair.

Well, that sucks! I've never had any trouble with my 5D but I hear complaints from others.
