Your lawyer may call it a contract.

If you call it an agreement, then clients won't be so intimidated.

Im not sure bout American/state law, but in Canada you are legally not allowed to sign any type of contract or agreement if you are under 18 years old, and it extends to both television and photography. If its the same in the states, you will need a parental signature (which sux, if there 2 months from being 18 .

Back in the day (2 or 3 years ago) before i got into the digital stuff, I took some snaps of a 17 year old (didnt know at the time, and she signed everything) modelling some clothing for a local store (similar to GAP), and her mother saw them and sued me for 2000 bucks, and she won because its the law. Although I didnt lose anything because i made 3000 off the shots hehe. The funny thing is, I still use the same person as a model sometimes (who left home at 18 , and now she signs her own documents lol.

What kind of a job? Different jobs use different contracts.
