Desoto Drift...

[ERG]

So, We don't get too many events here in central Florida during the summer and I have to bounce between club action at Sebring and local action at Desoto. I'm not a huge fan of drifting, but I shoot it because is it quite a challenge, particulalrly when it involves amerature drivers. Here are some images from a recent practice held at Desoto.

Nice set. I think the first one is well done. #5 is a good effort but the focal point should have been on the car (headlight). The composition does not lend to the drivers face being the focal point. #6 is a nice shot. Focusing on the driver was the right move here.

As for #5, I originally composed that shot with the headlight as the focal point, but then I saw that it was a cute female driver and I think the camera focused on her all by itself - may have to send it off to Canon :lol:

Hey Brandon, good to see you on here as well! Yeah I've actually been on TR & POTN longer than me reg. dates suggest. POTN moves much faster than TR and is obviously more focused on motorsports photography.
