I mentioned before that I was having problems with lens flare at Cadwell so I decided to try processing a couple of the worst shots with PhotoMatix (http://www.hdrsoft.com/). Apart from the halo effect on the second one I was quite pleased.
Any comments/suggestions welcome.

I like them and I really like that you can see the rider's eyes in the first one.

The first one does have a lot of noise in it though. It is really noticeable on the tires and the red in the background.

You're right about the noise, HDR does tend to amplify it. I've processed it with Noiseware (http://www.imagenomic.com/nwpg.aspx) which has improved it a bit I think.

Nice shots, Stuart. The staring eyes image is great! :)

1st shot is awesome!

How would they look with a bit more colour saturation? or a touch more black.... something is a little off for me....

Stuart,
The colours do not look right to me compared to your normal pictures ,and the grass looks over saturated ,with the riders looking pale .
The actual shots are superb !

I need some more practice with this HDR software.
Anyway I've reduced the saturation and altered the levels ever so slightly in the shot above so that you can compare with the original.

By the way if anybody knows who the lead rider/bike is in that shot would you let me know. I didn't buy a programme, what a tight arse I am!
