I am new to the exhibit software.. but I love it.. I have been using gallery a lot, however the look of this software is much different.
When you go to delete a exhibition.. I did not see a select all button. If I had a gallery(exhibition) with 65 images I would not want to click 65 times to select each of them. Maybe I am missing something.. Everything works.. It just would be nice if you would code a select all buttion.
From Faq:
In "photo editor/exhibition editor" you have a "Listing type is" dropdown menu. From it, select: MULTIDELETE. Use multidelete to delete all photos. Then, delete the exhibition from exhibition editor.

You going to kill me..
however.. another suggestions...
in the ee path editor..
make a globle update of all the paths..
so I can update the large, normal & thumbs, microthumb all at one time ( so I just click on time.. )
as it is now..
I enter the path for the
"Size path editor"
then click update.
then
"Thumb path editor"
then click update
then
"Microthumb path editor"
then click update..
it would be much easier to edit all the information.. then just click update once..
also.. there should be a way to add more than one path at time.. maybe a drop down box.. that is labeled something like " create multiple paths" or sometime..

About Delete:
So far I have intentionally made it a bit difficult to delete photos fully from database :)
But you're right, Multidelete could have "select all" or "delete all" functionality.
And path editor:
I have in on my todo list to do a common update button. It'll work of course only when all path editors are visible.
Thanks, and all suggestions and oddities should be reported without any inhibitions! Keep the reports coming.

As I keep finding them... I will keep posting them.. However your software is really great.. I have around a thousand images so far.. and it is working nice.. It took a while to figure how to make it work.. because switching from Gallery is really hard..
I have it running on Red Hat Linux with no problems ( I see in most of your forum) a lot of people use windows. However it works really great and super fast in Linux.

I love ee. I think it the best of software I have used in a long time. it does take a lot of work to get up and running and optimized. It is much nicer than Gallery ( 1.3)..
I am tring to clean up index.php.. I am not very good at php.. but hey I'm trying.. First I look in index.php and don't really see any thing to edit ( var names that I am looking for) then I open building_block and couple of other php files trying to find what to edit and I have no idea..
here is a screen shot of what I am looking for
http://www.ashley17.com/ee.jpg
if it is marked in yellow I would love to rem out the var that displays it.
if it is marked in red I would like to add a css to it.
1. The label over the gallery.. I would like to link it to a css with a hover / mouseover command ( like on the top of the page)
2. I would like to remove the photo from the US.
3. I would like to remove (hits per day since lanuched)
4. I would like to removed the link Give and Remove Feedback (*but with out turning off the feedback system)
*** just to let you know that EE 1.3 is stable.. I have a few problems.. but nothing I can not work around..
Check this out!!!!!!!! (yes that is 1/2 million pages)
444828 PHOTO PAGES HAVE BEEN VIEWED TO DATE ON THIS SITE.
Gallery pages created by Exhibit Engine 1.3
... one more thing.. if you want I can help you to write a little .htaccess script that will protect the EE admin part.

Possiblely a bug in 1.3 is that you cannot delete lens from the multieditor, i can add len's but not delete any. Also how do you edit the list of irems in the "Flash setup" list. Looked everywhere but cannot find it.
Just found that one.

Oh, it is easy anough to delete anything in SQL, once you get familiar enough with the database schema! Remember, phpmysqladmin has complete power of the database that drives EE. From there, you can edit/delete/add much. You just have to learn a little SQL! :-)
