Was at the Glenavon v Bangor game the other night (Glenavon robbed 1-0 in the dying minutes but thats for another day)

Earlier dusk shots are iso1600. Later shots are 3200.

All processed using Lightroom then sharpened in photoshop.

Comments as always welcome.

ps I know they're not as good as some of my previous efforts, which is kinda frustrating.

I think they're really good...#4 is a great capture, love the motion blur and ball-on-foot

Thanks guys :D

Conor - its the whole body angle thing isn't it?

Scot - number 4 is a personal favourite for the same reason. To be honest if the game had have been during the day then the foot would have been frozen due to a far higher shutter speed. Sometimes you just get lucky :p

Absolutely. The lines of an athlete's body often make a difference between a good shot and a great one. In this, I can tell the direction of the shot, the effort put in by the player, and his eyes and leg lead me into the ball and off the corner. Good!

Thats one of the things I love about photography. People's interpretations of images.

Cheers mate.
