Photography, trains, and friends (in no particular order).
The bus photo is emblematic of the friends I've made in the forum...for those who missed it, we had a lot of fun with that one.
The model is an HO scale Southern Pacific caboose.
And my Angle Finder C which I'd been using earlier in my playtime.

Cool, Tom. That would make a very impressive product(s) shot if you were actually trying to sell any of the items in the photo. Very nicely done.
BTW, I like that little microwave dish on top of the caboose. Or is that a BBQ grill?

Thanks fellas...
I was just horsing around playing with my seldom-used 100mm macro lens. The shot was taken in my kitchen on the countertop with no lighting other than what was coming in through the window. I wanted lots of DOF, so this was shot from a tripod at f/32, approx. 2 seconds.
I don't have a lot of train stuff any more, but this caboose survived among a few other 'favorite' pieces. It's made mostly of brass, and cost as much as some lenses (I'd rather have the lenses now).
The 'barbeque' is a radio antenna (UHF, I think). I personally think it would be a great place for a nice Weber Kettle. At 60MPH, the burgers could flip themselves.
One small confession...I cropped a little off the left side of the shot. I didn't want anyone to see the Quantary filter on my lens.
Ian:
As to why there are no Kangaroos, look closely and see what's on the barbeque. :p

I think it's hiding inside the caboose. And before anybody gets any smart ideas, don't they dare desecrate Tom's work of art by PSing a kangaroo in there.

That's a pretty cool shot.
But I am having a hard time not pulling it into PS...

There is no question the shot needs something. Either a Kangaroo, or a duck looking between its legs or something.
