I like it! I think you may be a very experienced photographer, am I right? How about checking in over at Chat and introduce yourself? Good luck - this is a very active website, with lots of helpful people.

Thanks Bodryn! "experienced photographer"... not even close. :o Just starting out actually. (maybe 6 months??) Always thought I had an eye for taking pictures. Started with taking pics of my sisters children, and now some friends let me take pics of their children, etc.. really looking for some constructive criticism though, so I thought I'd give it a try on this site. So far so good! Thanks again!

Anyway, I look at the photo and I see a wonderful capture of mood and expression. I don't see any obvious way to improve it, except that some may say the focus may be just a tiny bit off; but I think it's as good as it needs to be. Shooting by dim candlelight takes some experience also and to get it to come out with this much clarity is impressive. Maybe you're a quick study? :) Will be looking forward to more of your work. Enjoy!

You're off to a tremendous start ... I really like this image. I would (perhaps) like to see a little more depth of field (so the eyes are more in focus) ... but then again I'd have to see it both ways and might in the end prefer your original shot.
