Hello -

I received a Canon A75 as a gift, and would like to obtain a 512 mb card for this camera. what's a good, compatible card?

i saw a relatively inexpensive Sandisk on amazon.com, but was not sure if this was compatible. it says it's a "type 2", and i'm not sure if the A75 is of that type. i'm new to this, so i hope this isn't a dumb question.

thanks!

It must be type 1. I Purchased the following for my A95:

I just got a Sandisk 1gb Ultra II Compact Flash card for my A75:

A tad pricey but it holds over 800 pictures. Records pictures and movies instantly. I love it! Definately worth the investment.
