Cute :)
The image almost has a kodachrome film look to it.

Thanks, I am trying hard to make my pictures look like they were taken with a film camera ;) I got an old russian MF lens, I have angle finder/magnifier on order and thinking about adding more MF lenses, Zeiss Jena Flektong 35/2.4 for example.

Actually, I was just looking at Rolleiflex 2.8A for $295 and Rolleicord Va for $245. One day, I am going to buy it ;)

Did you use a photoshop action for that effect?
I noticed that Helios listed, I'm surprised it fit on the Digital Rebel.
Why are you liking these old MF lenses so much? With the smaller viewfinder, is manual focus hard to use?

I did not use any photoshop actions. It's a simple raw conversion with some color balance adjustment, I had to fix contrast as well. Other than that, I hope that Helios is responsible for that look. This is the reason why I am looking for MF lenses - old, "esoteric" look.

It's actually quite easy to fit old screwmount (M42) lenses on Canon. There are many m42->EOS adapters on ebay, and they go as cheap as $12. There is no electronic connection, so the camera will think that there is no lens, but it will work just fine in Av or M modes. You focus and set aperture manually.

M42 lenses are also tend to be very cheap. For example, you can find for about $50-$80 Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35/2.4 which is supposed to be excellent. Takumars are also supposed to be great. Here's a link that has some useful info on M42:

Manual focusing on a DRebel is difficult, which, again, will contribute to that esoteric look. Who says that a picture must be sharp? It only has to be beautiful ;) Yesterday, I ordered Canon angle finder C, which has a viewfinder magnifier. I hope it will help with focusing.

But now, I am seriously thinking about getting a Rolleiflex. The pictures taken with a Rellei are really different, take a look at the pictures posted here:
