No photos yet...they will be here soon... later tonight after the show.

Almost one year on the road with Bruce Springsteen and tonight is the final show in Milwaukee at the 105th Harley Davidson birthday bash. Off to the airport, meeting up with the media...one last time.

Hopefully I have grown as a photographer, shown some fun photos and provided a few laughs. I am just holding this space for a few of tonights shots, as well as a retrospect in the upcoming days.

A shout out to everyone here that has helped me in various ways...you know who you are even if you don't know how you helped a complete newbie hang with the big boys. A special shout out to Roger at Lensrentals.com for giving me the right advise on glass from day one and loading me up for bear to end the tour tonight. I am really looking forward to trying out the 200mm f/2 IS L.

See you all further up the road....

My second favorite artist next to U2.

I saw him back in March and it was a spectacular show! It's a shame about Danny. :(

Can't wait for some pics!

Hey Skifurther... (Where are you at?.. Make it back home yet?)

It will be great to see some pictures... Looking forward to it...

And thanks for the link to Lensrentals.com... The prices are affordable and make for a practical way to try out some lenses before purchase.

Harley fest was fantastic. I heard the Bruce show was good. I thought about heading over there as I managed to get my hands on an all access media pass on day 1 but i just didn't wanna deal with the crowds.

OK...so 24 hours came and went...Tony must be on photographer time (without a deadine version).

Now, the hard part has been figuring out what photos to show. After a few pass fews I narrowed the list down to 180 keeper shots. I am almost scared to think what I would have had if I wasn't using some new equipment. Let me go on record saying that the 200mm F/2.0 IS L rocks big time...even with a 1.4 converter.

Here goes and, as usual, comments and critique are welcome

These pictures have real strong composition, and represent great timing... I bet there is a story to go with each...

Sometimes, the POTN 8 picture posting limit, needs to have exceptions made... This would be a great time to feature Bruce Springsteen, especially since the tour has ended...

Can you post some more? Would Rene' be able to OK it?

I'm pretty sure that the OP is allowed to reply to a post requesting additional photos with additional photos within the same thread (just not in the original post)

The Image posting Rules are quite clear I'd say:
This means: you may embed up to 8 photos when you start a new thread. You may embed additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post.

I'd say the posts #8 and 9 are a pretty plain request...

Keep it within reason though...

Thanks everyone for the comments. I appreciate them. It's been a long year and I am actually bittersweet glad it is over for now.

Anyway, I'm not sure how I should proceed with this. My favorite shot from each show and a story to go with it? A grouping of favorite shots on another topic? I'm willing to hear some suggestions.

Don't worry, Rene. I will not post anymore than 200 of my favorites.

I like the "favorite show pic with story"... spread the posts out over a few days each to let us respond and we can keep asking for more. :D

Rene, please be very careful about being so reasonable ... you will give Mods a bad name! :-)

I think Rene' ought to consider letting Tony run with this one... And a "favorite show pic with story" isn't a bad alternative either, (a pic from each show with a story, in individual threads is fair too).

huh, somehow i never got around to commenting about these...tony, you definitely took advantage of seeing so many shows, and got some good captures...2, 4 and 5 are great. bruce looks pretty sweat-soaked on a few of these, so i assume you were able to get out from 1st 3 rule?
