I have done a job for a client ... shot RAW converted to 8bit Tiff. Saved the images after adjustment with no compression . My client tells me he requires the images to be 2150mm X 850mm large. I do have an action that can enlarge to 52 inches in length ... but he needs bigger....
Please help , this is very urgent
Thank you
Mike

I'm not an expert in this but since you said Urgent, I'll offer two bits of advice:
1. Go back and save in 16-bit TIF.
2. Upsize in Photoshop 10% at a time until you hit the size you need. In other words, do it in steps, don't jump all at once. 10% is a good value to use for this trial.
Good luck.
Don
P.S. Just to lend a little credence to my message, my non-expert opinion about 10% upsizing was gleaned from one of Scott Kelby's books.

Genuine fractals will do exactly what you need, I dont know if they have a demo version you could try...http://www.lizardtech.com/

Another option is Extensis SmartScale - also expensive like Genuine Fractals.
I did a number of upsizing tests in the past, trying different methods in PS and using SmartScale. My final discovery was that the best method depends on the image.
These three threads may give you some more info...
This one started the topic:

I ran some tests:

I got the prints back and gave opinion on them:

An important question is: What will be the viewing distance? If nobody will ever get closer than 10 feet then the upsizing method is much less important than if they can get within 2 feet.

Bit of a motherhood statement, but it helps to establish the clients requirement prior to doing the work

You can also do some upsizing in RAW conversion. In a conference recently it was said that the upsizeing there was better as it was working with more bits.
