EOS 1Ds vs. EOS 1D Mark II

I am getting ready to buy a second body to go with my 10D and I was wondering if there is anybody here who has used both the 1Ds and the 1D Mark II. I am trying to decide between buying a new 1D Mark II or a used 1Ds, the price is about the same. The 1Ds is full frame 11 MP while the 1D Mark II is 8 MP but has a 1.3 crop factor.
I shoot mainly weddings and portraits for money but I like to shoot sports for fun.

I have a IDMII, not a 1DS. It seems to me that if you need speed and low noise high ISO, you want a IDMII. If you want larger files, you want a 1DS.
