As Sheldon and I were tramping around Ile Bizard yesterday, I thought I saw a robin along the river. Nope, not one, but about 20 of them. Is spring just around the corner?

The corners in Montreal are quite large....


Nice shot - it's good to see those guys, but I do believe that they often hang around rather than migrate.

Then again, they could be Arctic Robins - did you see any with muk-luks?

no muk-luks but several had little tiny fur lined beak warmers :) :) :)

I used my Canon 400 f/5.6 prime on a MKII body. Dollar for dollar, this is a lens that is hard to beat.

Nope! These robins are just plain daft, just like the geese and the ducks that still hang around Montreal in the middle of Winter. :rolleyes:

that is a lovely shot

the robins are so different over here and in the uk

they have red breasts alright but they are more chubby looking
