Thanks for all the comments. Old buildings make great photography subjects.

The best. Lots of character in them.

I guess an estate agent would say it had 'lots of character' and an 'open aspect'. :)

I like it a lot - how about a B&W version?

I agree...nice. What is the shadow in the foreground though? One of my goals is to eventually create a book portraying the backroads of Indiana....which I find interesting, because landscape photography is my least favorite type of photography...but somehow this concept has me intrigued... like old fences and barns and odd trees and old roads and cows in the fields....

I like that shot. I've always like photographing buildings like this. Something special about them.

Did you have to lighten a lot of the shadows to get it to look like that? I've been noticing that a lot of my photos taken in direct sunlight kinda look crappy cause of all the shadows.

The shadow is from a hugh tree. I tried cropping to take it out but it just didn't portray the same look.

Actually that is pretty much how it came out of the camera, just a few very minor adjustments to color and brightness.

Nice shot. I agree, old wood and old buildings have something that captures the lens :)
