I dont know what effect your after, but i think that photo would look better with a softer focus.

Just going for something a little more subdued then her normal self. I see what you are saying about the softer focus. Maybe next time I will soften up a bit.

I guess my noir fandom bleeds through a little even when I'm not trying to.

Very hard and contrasty. Makes her look very tough. Hard. Very good use of the high contrast ratio you had.

To me her hair is a little distracting. Just me being picky.....otherwise a very nice photograph.
