Ok, so I converted this from a daylight scene to a night scene, believable?

Thank you SolidxSnake. Not a lot of comments here, I am hoping its one of those that is just leaving people speechless and not just making people uninterested... This is the first time I have really attempted this so C&C is very much appritiated.

Yeah, I'd assume so too. How'd you convert it?

Looks very believable to me. Begs the question, "why not just shoot it at night?"
Just wanted the challenge?

I first changed around the color curves of the raw leaving blue as the primary color and the green and red more muted. But the bachground (from about the ramp in the back to the back wall) were not changed that drastically and still showed up as white light. So I changed the contrast, color curves, etc again in the raw file and exported it as a separate file. Then I used photoshop to put the two together (little more complicated than that sounds but thats the short of it) and this is the end result!

Well... several things, haha. First is that this place is not open to the public at night. It is an old statium that they dont use except for the field portion which has a running track and field for playing football, etc. It use to be the primary stadium for the high schools in my town but now the just use it for recreation and close it at night.
Second, I took the photo thinking it would look cool but when I looked at it after getting home it just didnt have that feel that I wanted it to have. So I challenged myself to convert it and I am glad I did.

It's a very good edit. Very believable. I'd also add it's a much improved image aesthetically over the original too. Super!
Only minor quibble is maybe clone out those 3 specular highlights on the mid right (caused through light coming in i'm guessing) and the one on the floor which is just a piece of debris catching the light.

Thank you for the kind words and also pointing out that issue. I will work that out as soon as I can and re-post the new image. Thank you FlexiPack and anyone else who continues to comment on my experiment in converting!
